The cast and staff of Brown Paper Box Co.'s summer production of Now. Here. This. was surprised on Friday, August 5 by the show's original creative team, collaborators, and stars. Jeff Bowen (music and lyrics), Tony Award nominee Hunter Bell (book), and original director and choreographer Michael Berresse caught the Chicago premiere of their work and met with Brown Paper Box Co.'s team and audience members following the performance. The cast, band, and staff took to social media to share the excitement - check out photos below!

Brown Paper Box Co.'s summer production of Now. Here. This. is currently up and running at the Rivendell Theatre in Chicago's Edgewater neighborhood. The show opened Saturday, July 23, and runs Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 PM, and Sundays at 2:00 PM through August 21 at Rivendell Theatre (5779 N. Ridge Avenue). On July 21st, the students of Broadway Artists Alliance of NYC were tearfully overjoyed by a surprise visit from Hamilton star Renee Elise Goldsberry. Recently winning a Tony Award and Grammy for her role as Angelica Schuyler, Goldsberry spoke about the incredible journey that Hamilton has taken from workshopping a concept, to performing at The Public and moving to the Richard Rodgers Theatre, to earning 16 Tony nominations and winning a Pulitzer Prize. Goldsberry captivated the students of Broadway Artists Alliance during a lively Q&A where she offered generous advice. Scroll down for photos from her appearance!

I'm a huge fan of Twitter and Broadway - and for me, as someone who doesn't live in NYC, those two go hand in hand. Using social media I've been able to stay connected with everything happening in the New York theatre community and make some great friends along the way.

Tony Award Winner, Laura Benanti, delighted the students of Broadway Artists Alliance's Summer Intensive program with a surprise visit this past Thursday! Benanti, who recently finished up a successful run of She Loves Me (2016 Tony Nomination for Leading Actress in a Musical), was as inciteful and entertaining off stage as she is on, during her Q&A with these aspiring young professionals. The New York Civil Liberties Union, the New York State affiliate of the ACLU, just presented its annual benefit concert. 'Broadway Stands Up for Freedom', which featured performances by some of Broadway's finest

On  Saturday, July 30, from 10AM to 1PM, TheatreWorks New Milford will host a dynamic creative workshop, 'Die Vampire, Die,' led by Broadway's Susan Blackwell. The workshop, appropriate for individuals of all ages, is inspired by the popular song 'Die Vampire, Die' from the hit Broadway musical [title of show], currently running at TheatreWorks New Milford through July 31. Miss Blackwell was also a member of the original Broadway cast of [title of show].   

Tony Award Nominee and School of Rock's leading man, Alex Brightman, visited the students of Broadway Artists Alliance on Thursday, July 7th. Brightman spoke of how his career journey led to originating the role of Dewey Finn, which earned him a Tony nomination for Best Actor in a Musical. Scroll down for photos!

The New York Civil Liberties Union, the New York State affiliate of the ACLU, announced today a star-studded lineup of performers for its annual benefit concert. "Broadway Stands Up for Freedom" will boast performances by some of Broadway's finest on Monday, July 18, at the NYU Skirball Center for Performing Arts (566 LaGuardia Place).
